Nothing can allow one remember that special sunset on a once in a lifetime trip better than a beautifully done landscape.  Nature provides some of the most beautiful subjects one can conceive, but not all landscapes are beautiful.  They can also be the reminder of times we might like to forget, but we never should.  Sometimes ugly creates a powerful impact.

Learning a few tricks can make a big difference in the quality of the images with which you return.  There is a lot about landscape photography which is totally out of your control, and some that might be difficult.  You can not control the weather, and you may not even be able to control your schedule to pick the time you wish to work.  But there are some things that help you make best of the conditions with which you are forced to work.
