OUTDOORS & WILDLIFE
Being in the outdoors for many these days can seem a bit odd at first. IF you grew up in an urban environment, the sounds smells and surroundings will seem odd. To me they seem like home and a return to my childhood.
Yet the more remote, the more careful one must become because the time it takes to get help is drastically increased. There are risks, and good preparation is essential to safety, but the rewards are amazing. It won't take long before you are just as at home in nature as you are at home. In a way it becomes a second home.
To catch the golden hours of the first hour of daylight and the last hour before sunset, that often requires an overnight stay to be practical.
That doesnot mean you will not find wonderful images at all times of the day IF you are really willing to work. By work, I mean have fun, but it will take some effort.
No two places are ever the same, and no two visits to the same place are ever the same. It may be the same spot, but its not the same place any more than you are the same person.
That is the joy of the outdoor photographer. It's always new. Start your journey today.
